PS. Introduction

Alastri Production Scheduler is used to generate detailed two week plans of mining activities such as drilling, charging, blasting, mining, hauling, stockpiling, crushing, and product handling.

Terminology

General

General

Project

Alastri Production Schedule file type with a “.aps” extension

Scenario

A set of time-based schedule inputs

Report

Schedule results summarized in tabular form

Period

Schedule time increments

Run

The software process of generating a schedule

Scheduling

The human process of generating a schedule

Setup

Agents

Agents execute the scheduling logic into an ordered list of schedule transactions

Calendar

A table of schedule inputs (crushers, fleets, inventories, constraints, specifications) by time period

Constraints

Limits on movement by period, source, destination, material and agent

Dependencies

Dependencies prevent a block being mined before its nominated predecessors

Fleet Assignments

A list of permissible truck/loader combinations assigned to user-defined mining areas, such as Manned/Autonomous or Production/Rehandle

Preschedule

Blocks that are mined or partially mined before the starting point of the schedule

Product Specifications

Specify grade targets and limits for materials at source, in stockpiles, at crushers, railed or shipped

Steps

The components of fleet movement required to transport material from point A to point B; used to model rehandle and mixed fleets

Data

Table

A database of 3D scheduling blocks and inventories. Contains a block tree and associated reserves

Level

The table's block hierarchy, ie. Mine\Pit\Stage\Bench

Phase

A volume of dirt in one location that is mined in one or more benches

Bench

A volume of dirt at one elevation that is blasted in one or more blasts

Blast

A volume of dirt that is blasted together

Dig Solid

A volume of dirt that is mined together

Flitch

Elevations of dig solids inside a blast

Parcel

A material type with properties such as volume, tonnes, grades, and moisture

Dry Tonnes

The weight of a given material, excluding moisture

Wet Tonnes

The weight of a given material, including moisture

Product Fields

Fields (such as grade) which have both an in situ value and a product value

Navigation

Viewport

Any 3D visualisation area

A new window that opens to enter information

Dropdown

A dropdown box that lets you choose from a list
