SC. Polygon Geometry

In the Polygon Geometry step you can draw the polygonal extents for each reporting region.

Tips

  • Hide all surfaces in the right hand legends.

  • Select a polygon from the Polygons list on the left.

  • Draw a polygon around the colored domain solids.

  • Repeat for next polygon.

Note that polygon areas are shaded clear or hatched to show whether they are selected in the Polygons list.

Draw the closed boundaries for each listed polygon

Polygons panel

  • Click on the polygon name to highlight it in the viewport.

  • Double click to Zoom to All, highlighting the selected polygon.

  • Use the Viewpoint dropdown to:

    • Activate the selected polygon viewpoint, means zoom to the saved view.

    • Save the selected view (“set” is displayed).

    • Delete the saved viewpoint (“none” is displayed).

  • Use the Cross-Section dropdown to:

    • Activate Cross-Section panel, where you can move (by holding down left mouse button) the cross-section arrow across the selected polygon.

    • Save the set cross-section (“set” is displayed).

    • Delete the saved cross-section (“none” is displayed).

Use Step Size box and blue up and down arrows to change cross-section arrow step size and move it across the polygon.
