In Haul Infinity versions starting from 22.1, it became possible to digitize trucks to be added to a project.

Previously, to add a truck to the Haul Infinity project, you could import an already digitized truck from the catalogue available on the alastri.com.au website, or ask the technical support personnel to prepare an “.opentruck” file for you. Now you can do this yourself.

Importing a truck from previously created file

The Truck Creator module is available through the Tools button in the top bar of Haul Infinity tabs.

Haul Infinity > Tools > Truck Creator

The sections below provide instructions for digitizing both electric and mechanically driven trucks.

After completing all of the suggested steps, you will have:

  1. A project file with “.truck” extension that you can then edit if any changes or additional data are required;

  2. A file with “.opentruck2” extension, which can be imported into the Haul Infinity project in the Setup > Trucks > Models step.
